Map/Directions to Swallows Inn Directions: From Johannesburg (Alberton and Southgate Direction.)
Use N1 Concrete Highway.
Take the 14th Ave (West Rand) Ext.80 off ramp and turn left at the robot.
At the second robot turn right onto the M47.
Drive on towards the West (following Ventersdorp signs) on M47, crossing the R28 Highway to Pretoria and Krugersdorp. After plus minus 25 km you get to a T- junction at the OAKTREE ZENEX GARAGE.
At the T- junction turn right on the R563 for plus/minus 1km.
Turn left onto the N14 Ventersdorp road for plus/minus 10km.
At the next crossing (with Ventersdorp in front of you, Krugersdorp to your left and Rustenburg to your right) turn right onto the R24 towards Rustenburg, for approximately 24km (Be careful of dangerous crossing).
In Magaliesburg town the road splits - one road R24 for Rustenburg, and the R509 to Koster. Take the R509 to Koster (Left).
From the split in Magaliesburg to SWALLOWS INN is 9km on the R509 road.
Look out for signs on the left hand side of the road.
From Johannesburg (Sandton Randburg Side)
Use the N1 Concrete Highway.
Take the 14th Ave (West Rand) Ext.80 off ramp.
At the Robot turn right.
At the third robot turn right onto the M47 Ventersdorp road.
Follow the directions as from Alberton's side.
From Pretoria via Krugersdorp
Take the R28 Pretoria Krugersdorp Highway.
Drive on plus/minus 65km until you reach a 4 way stop at Muldersdrift (the M47 Ventersdorp crossing the R28).
At the crossing turn right and continue to the T-junction at the OAKTREE ZENEX GARAGE.
Follow the directions as from Alberton's side.
From Pretoria Over the Hartebeespoort Dam Wall
Cross the dam wall towards Rustenburg.
At the first crossing (Damdoryn) turn left onto the R511.
Travel on until the R511 becomes the R560. Don't turn off - follow the R560 towards Skeerpoort, Hekpoort until you reach T-Junction plus/minus 45 km from the Damdoryn Crossing.
At the T-Junction turn left towards Magaliesburg on the R24
Cross the Railway Line 2 times
At the first stop behind the second railway crossing turn right onto the R509 towards Koster.
Travel for 9km and look out for signs on the left hand side of the road.
