Description:Positioned against the backdrop of the Helderberg Mountain Range, the guest house offers views over the unspoilt beaches of False Bay to Cape Point, Table Mountain and Gordon’s Bay.
This Cape Town accommodation establishment is over an acre in extent with two houses (the main guest house being Cape Dutch in architectural style), two cottages, secure parking, large swimming pool and gardens all geared exclusively to the pleasure of our guests.
The accommodation comprises of:
Bedrooms:
A total of seven double rooms (six with queen sized beds and one with twin single beds). All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms (with bath, shower, bidet, toilet and wash basin), mini-bar fridge, tea/coffee facilities, radio/alarm, colour television and video channel, air-conditioning or ceiling fan.
Each bedroom is also equipped with pool towels, a hair dryer, clothes brush, torch etc.
Children over 15 yrs welcome. (No pets)
Self-Contained Cottage:
A separate two bedroom self contained cottage. One bedroom has a queen sized bed with a private en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin), while the second bedroom has twin single beds with private en-suite bathroom, (shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin). The cottage has an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with colour television and video channel and its own private garden.
Each bedroom is also equipped with pool towels, a hair dryer, clothes brush, torch etc.
Self – Contained Apartment:
A separate one-bedroom apartment. The bedroom has a king size bed with a private en-suite bathroom (with bath, shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin).
The apartment has a guest toilet, kitchen, lounge and dining area with colour television and video channel. A large balcony with its own seating, braai (barbeque) facilities and a beautiful view.
The bedroom is also equipped with pool towels, a hair dryer, torch etc.
The facilities available for the use of all Guests include:
Guest snug with television;
Guest bar lounge. Winkfield House is fully licensed and Dave’s Folly, our guest bar is freely available for guest use. An Honesty Book system is operated whereby you record whatever you use from the bar and this will be charged to your account.
