Description:At Waterberg Wilderness you have three types of accommodation to choose from: Waterberg Wilderness Lodge, Waterberg Plateau Lodge and Waterberg Plateau Campsite.
A special feature of this small lodge is its secluded location. It stands proudly on a high terrace, directly below the enormous, vividly red sandstone rocks of the Waterberg Plateau. The lodge’s six chalets afford sweeping views onto the Kalahari below. Here you find absolute tranquillity coupled with utmost comfort.
Each of the twin-bedded chalets has a shower/WC, a lounge area and a fireplace for chilly, romantic (winter) evenings.
The shady terrace in front of your chalet boasts a plunge pool which you will find wonderfully refreshing during the hot summer months. The fresh spring water also attracts birds and klipspringer (small antelope): early in the morning you can watch them while still in bed.
There are fully equipped luxury en-suite bungalows with BBQ/braai facilities. Swimming pool. Conference and camping facilities available.
Located close to the Waterberg Plateau one of the most magnificient natural rock features of the northern Namibian region.
Reaching a height of over 200 metres above the surrounding landscape with its awe inspiring magnitude.
Within its sheer cliffs and unusual rock formations it is the home & breeding grounds of various rare game species.
The plateau can be explored on foot and also with open topped 4x4 vehicles, acompanied by experienced National Waterberg Reserve guides.

We always keep your chalet supplied with hot water for making tea or coffee whenever you wish. Breakfast is served at Waterberg Wilderness Lodge (a 15-minute drive). You are also most welcome to join our daily activities. Afternoon tea and dinner are served at Waterberg Plateau Lodge.

Waterberg Wilderness is within easy reach by aircraft as well: it’s a mere 10-minute drive from the airfield to the reception. We will be there to meet you, of course!
