Description:Walkerbouts Inn - Rhodes offers a relaxed and homely atmosphere, comfortable en-suite accommodation with fine cuisine and a fully licensed bar. The Inn specialises in catering for fly fishers, birders, outdoor enthusiasts and those who enjoy the peace and tranquility of the village.
Walkerbouts has six tastefully decorated, spacious bedrooms. All have en-suite facilities, panel heaters and beds are fitted electric blankets to ward off the winter chill. In winter, the dining room and lounge are heated by an open fire-place as well as an anthracite heater. The cosy pub, whose walls could tell many, many stories (if only they could talk!) An alternative and adding another dimension to the wholesome country fare served in the dining room is our pizza menu. More specialised victuals such as vegetarian meals can be prepared by prior arrangement.
Flyfishing trips can be arranged on Wild Trout Association water of which there is more than 200km of running water within an hour's drive, weather willing! Flyfishers will have the opportunity of fishing for rainbow and brown trout as well as indigenous yellowfish. Price Info:2012:
