Description:Thandekayo is situated in Hout Bay. Which is one of the most beautiful bays near Cape Town and is situated at the beginning of the Wine- and Garden route.
We Kiki and Erwin, want to welcome you in our Luxury Guest House "Thandekayo".
We have 5 high standard rooms, all with bathroom en-suite. Each room is different but of the same high quality. We have a beautiful landscaped garden (3000 m2), two swimming pools, a comfortable lounge and breakfast area with a spacious balcony overlooking the beautiful Mountains and Sea of Hout Bay.
Thandekayo is Zulu and means:"Warm welcome in our home". We hope that when people come to stay with us they will say: "We feel at home, we feel good, that's what we want". So it should not only look good, it must also, and most particularly, feel good around you too. Our aim is to give everyone a memorable stay at Thandekayo. Your hosts Erwin and Kiki van der Weerd.
Strelitzia room: Honeymoon suite, is situated next to the swimming pool. Relax in a nice stone bath and light the candles for a
romantic stay.(TV & DVD).
Arum Lily room: Situated at the front of the house. Private balcony
with spacious Sea and Mountain views.(TV & DVD).
Protea room: Situated at the front of the house on ground level.
Private terrace and entrance into the landscaped garden, and overlooking the beautiful mountains.
Aloe room: At the front of the house. Private terrace and entrance. Take a relaxing bath and overlook the garden and the beautiful mountains.
Agapanthus room: On the second floor is this cozy room with a
stunning view of the bay and mountains.
