Description:Numbela is small, but beautifully formed. Each cottage (there are three at present) is fully detached, self contained and private. The cottages and the owner's house are contained within 7 acres of garden alongside the river. Numbela is bordered by a farm and surrounded by forestry, with spectacular trails to the waterfall.
River Cottage is a charming, beautifully furnished luxury thatched cottage. With one double bedroom, with en-suite bathroom (shower), and one occasional single (mezzanine), it would suit either a single person, a couple, or a couple with an older child very well, and a single daybed in the lounge.
Yellowwood Cottage is a luxury home from home, private cottage with a large verandah. Two adjoining bedrooms (separated by an archway with a thick curtain) with queen size bed and 2 singles, all with down duvets and pecale linen.Yellowwood Cottage offers attention to detail with candles, music and books.
The Tin House is a Pilgrim's Rest style farmhouse with four individually decorated twin rooms, each room with an en-suite bathroom (shower), 1 bath; Large open-plan lounge and dining room with an open fireplace and DVD/CD player and a fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for groups wishing to socialise. Private boma area.
All our cottages are available on a self catering basis and are fully equipped for you to prepare your own meals or there are a number of good restaurants in the area which we can book on your behalf
We are situated on the R40 approximately 20km from White River.
30 km from Central Kruger National Park.(children over 12 welcome by arrangement).
