Description:Montusi Mountain Lodge,luxury in the Drakensberg, offers genuine hospitality in the tranquility of one of the most beautiful settings in South Africa.
Montusi consists of a beautifully thatched main building (with reception, restaurant, terrace, bar, lounge and meeting room) and 14 spacious, up-market, tastefully decorated, individual garden suites which offer peace and romance.
Our intimate restaurant (with under-floor heating and log fireplace) is renowned for sumptuous local cuisine with innovative menus. Breakfast and dinner are included for lodge guests. Light lunches and teas can be ordered separately.
The "Ememeli" Bar is a place to converse and has a pool table and darts area upstairs.
Our fenced, nature inspired swimming pool looks out over the escarpment.
Community project relaxation massage, mani and pedicure on site.
The suites have comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (bath and shower), a lounge with sofa and Jetmaster gas hotrock fireplace, television and a private patio with outstanding views of the surrounding mountains.
Each suite has a car port for one vehicle. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a small fridge are provided.
