Description:Situated in a tranquil country setting in Tulbagh, South Africa, Manley Wine Lodge is a little piece of heaven. Surrounded by majestic mountains, sweeping vineyards and orchards, this is the perfect place to catch your breath and stay for a while.
Manley Wine Lodge is situated on a Wine Farm near Tulbagh which is famous for its historic Cape Dutch Architecture. Tulbagh is about 75 minutes from Cape Town.
The Guest Farm offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation consisting of:
Seven large stylish en suite bedrooms, with fireplaces and superb mountain views plus two luxury ensuite cottages with cosy open fireplaces. A lovely Gothic chapel and a function venue for that special wedding or conference.
A restaurant, plus swimming pool with boma and barbeque, add to the facilities of this tranquil farm.
We have two luxury Cottages with open fireplaces and Victorian Style bathrooms which combine comfort and old world charm.
The spacious rooms, which are all ensuite and overlook a secluded garden, have beautiful farm and mountain views. Three rooms have fireplaces.
The Cottages have an upstairs loft with two single beds.
The swimming pool and Barbeque area has panoramic views of the mountains and dam. A full English Breakfast is served in the restaurant.
In a sun-dappled field stands the charming Gothic Chapel which may be booked for that special country wedding.
There also are good restaurants only 1.4km away in Tulbagh, where a walk up famous Church Street with its restored Cape Dutch buildings is a must. Interesting museums and wine estates await your visit.
