Mai`s comfortable air-conditioned 19th Century home in the tranquil village of Prince Albert, South Africa, is an ideal place to sit back and relax and has been awarded a three star rating by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
Mai offers a choice of four comfortable, air-conditioned, spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom en-suite, DSTV, fridge and all you need to make tea and coffee. One has a double and single bed, two have queen-sized and a single bed and the fourth is a family room with a double bed and bunk beds.
Mai serves a hearty cooked breakfast to set you up for the day - out on the shady verandah beneath the grape vine in summer and in the sunny diningroom in winter.
Mai`s Guest Lodge lends itself to relaxing: Take a dip in the sparkling pool in its sheltered courtyard, laze on the front verandah or in the cosy lounge.
Leave your car parked at Mais and wander around the village, everything's within walking distance. Prince Albert offers art galleries, craft shops, star-watching with an astronomer, a ghost walk, a fascinating local Museum, a wide range of architectural styles and a wine-estate just across the road! Massage treatments, reiki, facials, manicures and pedicures are available in the village.
