When you are in Swaziland, leave the beaten track for the Lebombo escarpment, a cool mountain range 1500 ft above the hot coastal and lowveld plains. There you will a home of old world charm dating to the 1930's.

Set on the crest of the Lebombo, surrounded by magnificent views of Swaziland, and near the country town of Siteki, the farm provides an ideal stop-over for travellers. It is centrally located for visitors to Swaziland's Eastern Game reserves and is situated two and a half hours from both the Kruger National park and Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.

Thatched cottages overlook the Swaziland Lowveld: Comfortable and self contained, suitable for either small or large parties. Camping and backpackers are also now available. This makes a charming base, meeting your requirements of self-catering or B&B.

Whilst here, visitors can experience the many aspects of a working farm producing maize (grain) and rich, creamy milk from a Jersey herd to supply the local people. You are invited to explore the graceful tree lined avenues, the forest trails and in particular the secluded Lily pond. The huge estate also has many rare bird and plant species over a variety of habitats, which may be enjoyed either on foot or horseback.

A prominent feature is the historic farmhouse which was built in the 1930's by Italian stonemasons. Within easy walking distance is the uniquely African town of Siteki, where traditional courtesies are still practiced. Cross a stream and climb an old path under shady trees to meet with a Swazi family in their traditional home.
