Description:Kuilfontein is a fifth Generation sheep farm established in 1885, situated 500m from the N1 between Bloemfontein and Colesberg close to Springfontein in the Southern Free State.
We are a family run business, Sandra Staples is the Hostess with her children Shelton and Martinette. Shelton is a qualified Chef and Martinette a Hotel School Graduate.
Accommodation comprises 6 tastefully decorated private en-suite units. Rooms are equipped with a heater, fireplaces as well as electirc blankets for those chilly Free State winter evenings.
A full English Breakfast and Karoo Lamb Dinners served. There is also a sparkling pool and big sprawling garden to relax in.
For the more adventurous the Bossiespruit Trail can be enjoyed with 140 bird species to be spotted and if you are lucky the resident otter as well.
We have a upmarket Farm Stall offering a Coffee Shop and delicious meals are served by Chef Shelton and Martinette.We also sell Frozen Karoo Lamb, Biltong, Jams, Preserves and lots more. Farm Stall Business Hours: Mon-Closed; Tues-Fri8am-4pm; Sat8am-2pm; Sun9am-2pm.
