Accommdoation:
The lodge has 11 en-suite rooms all uniquely decorated in a true African style. All the rooms are equipped with DSTV, electric blankets, fans, coffee and tea facilities and the rooms meet all the modern standards. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Dining:
There is restaurant and bar on the premises for your enjoyment. The Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner from an a la cart menu. The lodge is fully licensed and the pub is the ideal place to unwind after a long hard day. It is also a great favourite with the locals. You can also enjoy some great pub lunches and grilled steaks in the pub.
Facilities:
Shaka`s Kraal is the outside boma braai area and is an experience not to be missed in the colder winter months.
Your host, Johan is a professional hunter and has a collection of over a hundred trophies all situated around the lodge.
Activities & Attractions:
Inkwe Lodge is situated in Bethlehem, Eastern Free State. Only 3 hours drive from Johannesburg and 30 minutes away from the picturesque Clarens, the Jewel of the Free State.
There are numerous things to see and do at Inkwe Lodge. We offer tours to the lovely Clarens area and the Golden Gate National Park, you can experience first hand the lion breeding farms and come face to face with this magnificent animal. Day and night game drives on the nearby game farms and hiking trails for the adventurous tourist are also available.
Elephant:
Our breathtaking thatched honeymoon suite with a private shower outside, jacuzzi and rock art shower inside and all the extra luxuries !! It`s a must!
Buffalo:
The spacious luxury room with double bed, en-suite bathroom and a relaxing seating area, never fails to bring out the cha`racter of the buffalo
Rhino:
This luxurious room has a cha`racter of its own with a amazing double bed surrounded by logs. The en-suite bathroom is surrounded by plants, giving the feeling of bathing in nature itself.
Kudu:
This luxury room is perfect for a family with its three single beds. The room has a spacious shower and lovely bath.
Lion:
As majestic as the King of the Jungle, this luxury suite is a favourite with our guests. Includes a patio, en-suite bathroom and aircon.
Caracal:
The unique atmosphere of this lovely room will make any one feel welcome. Double bed and impressive bathroom with a shower.
Serval:
Perfect for the whole family or a couple of friends. This spacious thatch roof room can accommodate up to 7 people. The bathroom consists of a shower.
Leopard:
Perfect for the traveller. Come in close contact with nature in this cozy thatched roof room fitted with 2 single beds and a shower.
Cheetah:
Created in the image of the spotted cat, this room is perfect for the traveller. Consists of an African art log double bed and spacious corner bath.
Hippo:
A Luxury room with King size double bed Styled shower, Jaccuzi Outside, Lovely coner Bubble Bath and a furnace in the bath room, This is a must.
Springbok:
The unique atmosphere of this lovely room will make any one feel welcome. Single bed with a shower.
