Description:Fourwinds Courtyard B&B / Guest House comprises of two family units with separate entrances that comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Guests can choose to self-cater or book breakfast. Evening meals are provided on request.
Units are designed to accommodate individual, couple or family demands. Rooms are en-suite and provided with TV, video and DVD. Towels are provided. There is ample storage for personal effects. Rooms are secure, lockable and fitted, unnecessarily to date, with burglar alarms and panic buttons! Vehicles can be parked in a safe, covered, lean-to.
The enclosed Courtyard at Fourwinds offers both privacy and security while a wide covered stoep enables enjoyment of outdoors even when the weather is wet.
A huge grape vine provides natural dappled sunscreen into the courtyard, which is also a quiet site for moonlit braais. Nature lovers will enjoy the feast of birdlife and the natural wildlife habitat of the courtyard and wider garden.
Meer cat are commonly heard and occasionally seen at night. A genet has been sighted. The hooting owl is a regular summer Fourwinds guest and eagles glide the thermals above.
Fourwinds has a pool room (with lit table), a large swimming pool, and volley ball/ badminton court. Walks and mountain bike tracks can begin at the gate.
Situated at the start of the Midlands Meander, Fourwinds is perfectly positioned for easy access to Howick, Hilton and Pietermaritzburg. We are a preferred rest stop for parents of children at Hilton College, St Annes, Cowan House and for schools in the city. A home from home for a family reunion. Business people find Fourwinds a restful and cooler stopover the night before meetings in the city. With Durban an easy hour away, Fourwinds is the perfect place to spend a night en-route.
Fourwinds is probably the oldest farm house built on the largest piece of flat land in Winterskloof. Five minutes from Hilton this has been home of Dennis & Jill and their three sons Jono, Daniel and Mark for some 20 years.
The property is five minutes from Hilton, fifteen from Pietermaritzburg, so an easy venue for the Comrades Marathon, the Durban classic, Amashovashova, the Hilton Art's Festival and the Midmar Mile.
There are at least 8 restaurants in Hilton, two shopping centres, a video/ DVD store and the whole Midland Meander of curios to explore.

Discounts for children under 12 years if accompanied by two
adults:
Thereafter adult tariff applies.
If more than two children under 12, the second child stays
free if the booking is for more than one night.

multiple or stays longer than four nights.
