Damas is situated at the foot of the grandiose Brandwacht Mountains and was originally an old farm reservoir transformed into this popular restaurant where guests sit below the original ground level while they enjoy reknowned cuisine and the best wines of the Breede River Valley. Damas literally means DAM AS restaurant.
Being one of the finest restaurants in the region, Damas Restaurant, a Chateau Libertas – SA Grainfed Beef award-winning restaurant, offers excellent cuisine, warm hospitality, first-class service and awarded wines from the Breede River Valley.
The three different venues cater for many of the guests` needs. The complex consists of Damas, the original building in the dam, The Ficus Conference Centre and the Tea/Wine Garden which is situated in the shade of a gigantic Ficus tree.

Damas offers stylish farm accommodation with 6 en-suite units and 2 family units in a safe environment. All units have an exquisite view of the mountains from private patios, which lead into the garden. Secure parking is close to the units.
