Description:The Breede River Lodge is situated on the mouth of the Breede River where it meets the ocean at Port Beaufort, close to Cape Infanta.
The Bay is one of the richest fishing estuarys in South Africa. The lodge is located south of the N2 on the R322, 5km prior the to Heidleberg.
The accommodation comprises of 8 Duplex Lodges. Each is self-contained and has an en-suite bathroom, sleeper couch, lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchenette, timber deck and fireplace. 4 Superior Rooms with twin bedded on ground floor level. 4 Delux Rooms, twin bedded on upper floor. 7 Waterfront Cabins which led onto a wooden deck overlooking the harbour. 3 x twin bedded, 4 x double bedded.
The `In-House` restaurant has aselection of freshly caught fish & oysters. Full South African breakfasts are served daily.
The private harbour has full launching and mooring facilities. Motorised craft, dinghies and fishing tackle are available fro hire toexplore the river as it meanders inland.
Enjoy a multitude of sports at the Breede River Lodge! From relaxing water taxi's, deep sea fishing charters, skippered boat hire, spear fishing, horse rides, hiking, bird watching, walks and kayaking, to the more energetic quad biking on a nearby farm.
