Although extensively altered over the years, it still retains much of the original charm of the old Victorian times.
It has a porch with Yellowwood foors and fine fretwork detail. Most of the interior still has the original old Yellowwood doors, floors and ceilings dating back to 1890 and plenty of Oregon Pine.
It has a huge deck where guests can sip cocktails and look out over the beautiful Knysna Estuary and plenty of on site parking space. There are also 2 self catering units on the property that sleeps 4 each. One has an excellent lagoon view.
All rooms have private entrances with private bathrooms with either bath or showers.
The self-catering unit is open plan (no seperate bedrooms) It is equipped with a double bed, 2 single bed, a kitchenette fitted with fridge, microwave, 2 plate stove, table with seating for 4, a TV, a couch. The bathroom has a shower. It has a magnificent view over the lagoon and the Knysna heads. (Top floor unit)
We are centrally situated within 2 blocks from the main road of Knysna and a 10 minute leisurely stroll to the Knysna Quays.
Excellent restaurants are all within a stroll as well as the Tourist Information Bureau.
