Melkbosstrand is considered the gateway to the West-Coast and one is bound to fall in love with this sleepy sea side village with its beautiful beaches and views. One is often fortunate enough to spot whales very close to the coast as well as dolphins playing in the waves nearby.
Accommodation
BED & BREAKFAST ROOMS
Our stylish rooms have superb sea views with terraces and offer all comforts and luxuries such as four poster beds, LDC TVs, DVD players, mini bars, complimentary tea and coffee trays, safes, wine and snacks baskets, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, alarm clocks, picnic baskets with crockery and cutlery for a romantic sunset picnic.
The Family Suite has two separate but linked bedrooms with one shared bathroom and one common entrance. The Luxury Suite is larger than the other rooms and is situated on the top floor with a private balcony to suntan. The Honeymoon Suite is also larger than the other rooms, situated on the top floor with balcony and boasts a draped four poster bed, fireplace, steam bath and private Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean.
THE SELF CATERING SUITE
The Self Catering Suite has all the above but is furnished with a kitchenette area and own barbeque facilities.

Weddings
A unique and romantic dream wedding and function venue right on the beach. Let our knowledgeable staff help you plan your dream wedding or host an unforgettable function. Options include beach or garden ceremonies with wonderful outdoor reception on the wind-protected lawn bordering the beach. We are able to cater for all needs, wishes and dreams and prefer to taylor make your wedding accordingly.
The venue can accommodate up to 90 guests and the guest house sleeps up to 16. Group booking discounts do apply. Children are welcome.
Ministers for the ceremony can also be recommended and arranged. The stunning Honeymoon-Suite with private Jacuzzi, fireplace and steam bath means you don't even have to leave the venue after. Special Honeymoon rates apply.
The venue is only 28km from Cape Town's city centre and 45min from the airport. Airport transfers or shuttle services for small or large groups can also be arranged. Please contact us for further information on venue rates and packages or if you would like to arrange a viewing.

Leave your gear in the garden and ride the waves in one of the top kite surfing spots in the world. Only 28km from the city centre via highway or beautiful coastal road, all areas and attractions are in easy reach from this romantic and historical seaside village where the British landed and fought the Boers in 1806.
