Description:Overzee Guesthouse offers accommodation in a log-home with the most wonderful views over the Indian Ocean.
As we are situated in a nature conservancy, you can enjoy the coastal fynbos, Bushbuck, Cape greybuck, mongoose and so much more. More than 85 different bird-species are counted, among them the second rarest bird of South Africa the Oystercatcher.
Watch the whales (from may-November) and the dolphins play from your room or balcony. From the guesthouse you can do the famous St Blaize hiking trail meandering along the cliffs.
A visit to museums, old stone buildings and the Khoi cave are a must. Go and see the great white shark, we can arrange cage diving for you as well as (beach) horseriding, scuba-diving as well as other activities.
As Mossel Bay is the gateway to the Garden Route you can enjoy daytrips through the Garden Route and Little Karoo. Trips to Knysna, George and Oudtshoorn are within 1 hour drive from the guesthouse.
Be nostalgic and travel on the Outeniqua Tsjoo-Choo, the steam hauled train operating through the Garden Route.
A short walk (5min) or drive (1min) and you are on the most beautiful sandy beaches.
