Description:
A thatched retreat 2km north of the Sterkfontein Caves. Overlooking the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. On the Crocodile Ramble.
Luxury suites: The accommodation comprises of four suites, two with queen-size beds and two with the option of either 2 singles or a king-size bed.each with own bathroom, lounge, patio. TV, bar fridge, hairdrier and air-conditioning in the bedroom. Licensed pub, fax and internet facilities.
Normal suites: The Cradle Lodge also sports two normal double suites, equipped with king-size double beds, a sitting corner and a TV. The bathroom is seperate, and also equipped with a large oval bath.
The Cradle Lodge has a fully licensed pub, where you can relax before dinner, or just unwind with your friends. The pub is equipped with a complete sound system, and also a digital satellite TV, so you don't have to miss the sport or the news.
For all your functions, like year-end parties, you are more than welcome to contact the Cradle Lodge, and we will try to accommodate your every wish. For exclusive 3 or 4 course dinners, you are also welcome to contact us.
We have two dining rooms available, the first catering for upto 8 persons, and the second catering for upto 20 persons. Obviously, you could have a bigger party as well for a buffet dinner or lunch.
Alternatively, we can organize a braai function in the boma, just outside the lodge.
We also have a Bonsai nursery where you can admire these exotic plants, or select one to buy and take home with you. Advice about the tending of the little trees can be given if you need it.
